We just came back from a week in Memphis where my daughter moved. She misses Long Beach for sure but has a nice place near the river. I am delaying writing a new post so I can read my friends’ posts. Your tribute to Gordon was so sweet – he certainly was a wonderful man and brother – I wish I had had a brother like him. I know it is hard to rejoice for your birthday when you feel so sad, but you still need to celebrate all what you have accomplished – and you have dear friend.
